LICENSING:  Schedule Builder licenses control how many User IDs of various authority may be defined and how many employees may be scheduled.  License prices vary based on those two factors.  Licenses expansions  to increase the limits on User IDs and / or employees scheduled may be purchased at any time.  There are no restrictions imposed by license as to how many PCs may run the software or access the schedules or how many Guest level user ID may be issued to allow people to view schedules and print reports.

PRICES * :

All systems licensed for more than one Admin / Scheduler user or scheduling more than 20 employees are priced as follows:

$195. per scheduler user and $10. per employee scheduled.  A minimum license requires 1 Admin / Scheduler user ID and schedules 25 employees thus costs $445.

Additional Admin / Scheduler users may be added at any time for $195. each

Additional employees scheduled may be added at any time for $10. each.

NOTE: a $60. minimum purchase is required.  We accept company checks by mail or American Express, Master Card or Visa payments online.

USER LEVELS:

A Log On screen requiring a User Name and a Password controls who may run Schedule Builder to view or edit schedule data.  Another Log On screen controls who may run the SchAdmin database administration program where system setup data is entered and maintained.  There are four levels of User IDs which may be defined by Admin level users running the SchAdmin program:

• Admin level users have full authority to view and edit all data in the system.  They enter system setup data (define assignments, enter employees, et. al) and can view and edit all schedules for all groups.  Every application always has at least one Admin level user.  The senior Admin level user is called the System Administrator.
   
• Scheduler level users may edit the schedules of whatever scheduling groups for which they are granted authority by a System Administrator.  They cannot get in to the SchAdmin program to view or edit system setup data.
   
• Member level user ID's may be defined for any and all employees.  These are only used to grant employees the capability to do self scheduling.  The capabilities granted for self scheduling are strictly controlled by settings made by the System Administrator.
   
• Guest level users have view only authority and what they can view is controlled by settings made by the System Administrator.

FREE 20 EMPLOYEE LICENSE*:

For a limited time, one Single User, Twenty Employee (1x20) application license is available FREE OF CHARGE to anyone who registers for and downloads a Schedule Builder evaluation package. 

Free application licenses allow the scheduling of up to 20 employees and granting of 1 Admin level user ID.  The license is non-expiring, so if you only ever need to schedule 20 employees, and you are able to set up the application database without our assistance, you can have your own working Schedule Builder application and never have to pay a thing for it.

Free application licenses cannot be expanded; they will not allow definition of more than one scheduler / admin user ID and they will not schedule more than 20 employees.  However if you develop an application using a free license and then want to expand, you may purchase a regular license and we will transfer all your data to the new regular license at no additional charge.
